Delete your Quits account and data
Quits (app id com.luxxatlabs.quits, by Luxxat Labs, IP) lets you delete your account and its data yourself, inside the app. It takes a few seconds and needs no e-mail to us.
In the app
- Open Quits.
- Tap the settings icon on the Home screen.
- Tap Delete account.
- Read what it says, then confirm.
The row appears when an account is linked to the app. Take the free JSON export first if you want to keep a copy — nothing here can be undone.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in with Apple or Google, and the anonymous identity behind it.
- Every group where you are the last member, with all of its expenses and reminders.
- Your account record, your push tokens and the app settings held in the cloud.
- Your votes on the Suggestions board.
What stays, and why
- Groups you share with other people. You are removed from the group and your name becomes “Deleted user”, but the expenses you added stay, because the other members’ balances are built from them. Deleting them would silently change what your friends owe each other.
- Your posts and reports on the Suggestions board stay readable, with your name and your account id stripped off them.
- Your purchase record (store, transaction id, time). It is the record that stops one receipt unlocking Pro twice. It carries no name and no e-mail address.
- Abuse counters keyed to a salted hash, never to your address, which a daily sweep clears within about 24 hours.
If you cannot open the app
Write to hello@luxxatlabs.dev from the e-mail address you signed in with, and ask for your Quits account to be deleted. We answer within 30 days and delete exactly what the lists above describe.
Deleting the app is not the same thing
Removing Quits from your phone deletes only the copy on that phone. Use Delete account first if you want the cloud copy gone.
